What to Expect:

During these assessments, we focus on equipping parents and carers with:

  • Education and Understanding: Comprehensive information about their child's mental health concerns, including potential triggers and symptoms.
  • Skills Development: Practical strategies and techniques to manage and support their child's emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Advocacy Support: Guidance on advocating for their child's needs within educational settings, social care environments, and beyond.
  • Safety Planning: Development of a personalised safety plan for the home environment, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address any potential crises or risks.
  • Empowerment and Support: Our goal is to empower parents and carers to feel confident and supported in their role as primary caregivers. By enhancing their understanding and providing them with effective tools and resources, we aim to strengthen family dynamics and promote positive mental health outcomes for their child or young person.
